Jack Saul
Exploring trauma, perception, and the limits of language through art.
About the Artist
Jack Saul is an artist and psychologist based between New York City and Woodstock, New York. His paintings evolve through a process of looking, responding, and allowing unexpected relationships to emerge. Working intuitively, he approaches abstraction as a space where perception, memory, and feeling remain open rather than fixed.
As part of his artistic practice, Saul creates paintings and audiovisual installations with communities affected by war, displacement, and collective trauma. Rather than illustrating these experiences, his artwork opens spaces where emotion, history, and imagination converge, inviting viewers into their own process of reflection, association, and discovery.
