Two distinct spaces are brought into relationship, each responding to and altering the presence of the other. At the center of the series is a dramatic interplay between monochromatic gravitas and incendiary warmth, investigating a dialectic between cool and warm, structure and chaos, stasis and movement. Through these contrasts, the paintings consider the dynamics of separation and connection that shape both human relationships and personal experience.
